Araluen - Home to Castle Redmont, Castle Araluen, Seacliff, Celtica, and others.
Castle Araluen, the seat of King Duncan's rule, is a building of majestic beauty. The tall, spire-topped towers and soaring buttresses have an almost lifelike grace to them that belies the strength and solidity of the castle.
Castle Seacliff sits at the top of a natural plateau, a wide plain perhaps a kilometer across. In the center of the plain stands the castle and its dependent village - a huddle of thatched cottages set close to the castle walls.
The trees in Celtica grow more stunted and gnarled. The grass is coarse and the thick forest is replaced by short, windblown scrub. This is part of the land where the winds blows constantly.
3 Step Pass
3 Step Pass is a narrow trail, twisting and turning paths down the pass through the sheer mountains for at least five kilometers.
Plains of Uthal
The plains of Uthal form a wide open space of rolling grasslands. The grass is rich and green. There are few trees, although occasional knolls and low hills serve to break the monotony.
The Drowned Forest
Gaunt, bare tree trunks rose from the flat ground, massed together in irregular ranks. Their bare limbs reached to the sky, jagged and uneven. There were thousands of them.
Dun Kilty was an impressive castle. Built inside a walled town and set on the craggy outcrop that gave it its name.
